This sub-division can cover research topics such as extrusion, tableting, spray drying, impregnation, calcination, and heat treatment techniques, including development of scale up correlations for these techniques.

Characterization Methods and QC
This sub-division can cover topics such as in-line/in-process characterization techniques, powder technology and rheological measurements relevant to catalyst manufacturing.

Modeling
This subdivision can cover computational technique for modeling the various catalyst manufacturing steps (unit operations) including powder flow, tableting, calcination, and impregnation.

Novel Technologies
This sub-division can cover topics related to the development of newer alternatives to existing catalyst manufacturing processes/methods and their economic viability. Examples are microwave catalyst synthesis and 3D printing.
